EMR/ECA, EMT, and AEMT course registrations close 10 days before the class start date. If all documents and payments have not been received by the deadline, the applicant will not be allowed to start the course.

Paramedic Cohort
- June 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027
The first 2 months of the class consists of 4 online classes the students must complete and pass by July 31, 2026. On August 1, 2026 the in-person portion of the course starts and continues through June 30, 2027. The in-person class is held Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8 am to noon. We will only be accepting 14 students to the class.

EMT courses are all on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule. Field and Clinical rotations are done on non-class dates. There are 20 available seats for each class.

Students learn online and attend Skills Labs in La Vernia, Texas to meet all course requirements. Skills Lab are mandatory and dates cannot be changed. Field experiences and clinicals are scheduled after successfully passing the second Skills Lab. Students must attend all 3 dates!

ECA/EMR courses are online and upon completing the coursework, students are required to complete one 12-hour ride along on an ambulance at WCESD #3, or an approved affiliate location.
